The successful joint venture of CCE and enernovum has concluded another very successful transaction for Italian photovoltaic projects. The two photovoltaic experts were able to sell the rights for projects with a total nominal output of over 250 megawatts to a European investor for infrastructure projects. All projects are still being developed in-house by the two companies until they are ready for installation.
Once again, the two photovoltaic experts CCE, headquartered in Austria and enernovum from Germany have scored a major success with their joint venture founded in Italy in 2017. After only a short negotiation period, project rights for Italian photovoltaic projects with a total nominal output of 254 megawatts were sold to a renowned European investor. The negotiations were accompanied by the business law firm Dentons. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
Green power for Italy
In concrete terms, the portfolio taken over amounts to ten photovoltaic plants, which are all to be built in Italy. All projects are being developed in house by CCE and enernovum until they are ready for realisation.
The transaction is the perfect complement of international capital and local development expertise. Both companies have been active in the Italian PV market for a long time.
Delightful cooperation all along the line
With this successfully concluded transaction, CCE and enernovum once again prove that they are among the leading companies in the field of photovoltaics in Italy. ” We are delighted to be able to realise our pioneering projects in Italy with a committed European investor and professional partner,” enthuse the two managing directors Martin Dürnberger and Jörg Menyesch. CCE and enernovum will continue to join forces in the future to develop and realise photovoltaic projects in Italy, but also in other countries in Europe and South America, in order to promote the energy transition and curb climate change.
